Fed Hill is fine, as you probably know. As is Fells Point, Mt Vernon, and Canton. West B-more ISN'T. The fact that they were in that area throws up a few red flags.

I work with the parents of the guy... sad stuff.
 
yea i despise baltimore. i work in columbia so half of the guys here come from baltimore and the other half come from closer to DC (where I come from), while the other half lives in DC. i'm always giving crap to the baltimore people because I just hate it. it's trashy and has like 500 sqft of nice areas. you can be in the nicest part of baltimore then 2 blocks over it's the crappiest part of baltimore.

and yes, i said 3 halves.
 
Yeah I work in Fells Point. If I walk about 6-7 blocks NE, I'd fear for my life. I always tell people coming into town "If you can see the Harbor, odds are you are safe. If not, start running". Sorry to hear about your loss.

Sorry to hear that man. I have only been to balitmore a few times for Otakon and a few baseball games. From what I see it seeemd pretty nice but that was innor harbor. I once passed it a ways and damn..it did go down hill fast. it was UGLY yet but it went from nice palce to strip clubs
