Equifax: 782
Transunion: 789
Experian: 794

I knew I had good credit only because I know myself to be financially responsible (i.e. I don't suffer from RossMAN syndrome:p), but I had no idea just how good. I don't even have a mortgage yet either, just a car loan, one paid-off student loan, and one credit card for my personal expenses on which I never keep a balance, so my scores can only get even better when/if I do get a mortgage. Woo!

Anyone else want to share? Also I'm willing to entertain any questions about credit that I can help with. Cheers!

Congrats. Just found out mine is a bit lower than I had hoped (~650), but it isn't holding me back from a mortgage; just holding me back from the percentage we want. Got offered 5.6%; I'm going to work on improving my scores over the next few months and see if we get a better deal.

I forget the last number! I just got a $7k loan so I bet it's lower.

Last time I checked, mine was about 710 or something. No late payments for over 2 years on either my Disc or Visa. Age=21

Try going here. That's just a site I heard about but that's not how I got mine so I wouldn't know if it works or if it's free or not.

I worked at a car dealership awhile back and had a customer with an 841. Everyone said it was the highest beacon score they had ever seen.

By the way, I think you mean </brag> ;)
No I meant <brag/>... XML tag my friend. Notice there's no beginning <brag> and end </brag> tag which would be appropriate for HTML.;)

I like both cookies and trophies. I will accept either.:D

I hate these online credit report services. I guarantee that if any of you walked into a bank or lender right now that they would not pull as high a score for you as what you're getting off these bogus services. I pull several credit reports every day for customers and I have NEVER seen 21-year-olds with no houses get those kind of scores. Low 700's at best. There's no way some punk whose oldest tradeline is 3-4 years old is going to score near 800.

edited to add emphasis for those who can't read.

also, does this checking it yourself count as an inquiry into your credit report?

FYI I'm no punk or youngin. I just checked my report and my oldest open account dates from 1/95. I have closed accounts that date back to 10/92. Plus I work at a mortgage company; I pull credit reports all day myself, so my credit report's definitely legit.:)

If you check your credit through one of the 3 bureaus, then no inquiry will show on your credit. If you check using some 3rd-party credit report service, then a regular inquiry just like any other will show up. The effect of inquiries on credit score is highly exaggerated. I recommend not getting too many, but having a few inquiries never hurt anyone.

BTW, if a bank or lender pulls your credit and gets a 720 or better, then they really don't care if it's any higher (except for the loan officer and/or underwriter to admire it). Once you can get the best, you can't get any better regardless of how much your sh!t doesn't stink.
