I will be going to a neurologist to get more info, but it is hard to misdiagnosis it when in the MRI they saw alot of white spots that were not there last year, and being that Im having symptoms of it also with the double vision etc... can always pray, but I won't get my hopes up, Ill just continue to prepare myself to live with it.

My fiancee's mother has it, my aunt has it, my ex gf has it, and my close friend has it.
You will lead a normal life for the most part.
Don't focus on the negative side of it. It was caught fairly early, you're young, and there are many new advances in treatment being made.

Treatment is very VERY expensive though.
🙁

One thing: did you get a second opinion??? When I was little I was diagnosed with a heart desease by one of the best cardiologists in the country. After 3 years of treatments and not being able to play any sports I was told that I was actually ok.

So get second opinion - and I sincerely hope you turn out ok. Hang in there dude.

Best wishes to you and may you have good luck in overcoming the symptoms of this. Hopefully it won't turn out so bad.

Wow. I was seeing double for a very long time (10 years), but never did anything about until this May, where this cool-ass Canadian eye doctor fixed me up with some kick-ass surgery and now I see everything once again 😀 I had no idea it can be something serious... Good luck.

Dulanic, I am deeply sad to hear of this. 🙁

I didn't know precisely what MS was (except for that I have heard of the disease) but the links provided by our kind ATOT members have informed me and it sounds scary. The bright side is that it was detected early and treatment is available.

best of luck, dude. i, too, recently learned of a serious illness that i have and it has changed my life and my outlook forever. just try to stay positive and find people who you know will support you through thick and thin.
also, with early onset, here's hoping your case is one of the milder ones.

isn't that called hotchkins or something? I can't remember
that sucks Dulanic, but I am sure everything will turn out alright! keep your chin up, think about it this way.. you're fine up until today, doesn't mean you can't keep living your life the way you have been 🙂
best wishes!

*hug* I know what it's like to be diagnosed with something that's going to change your life. It's scary, especially at first, all the uncertainty of what your life is going to turn into. It does get less scary, and the reality is almost always better than the scenarios your mind paints.

Sorry to hear about that. Find the best neurologist you can. And Montel Williams has MS and he is functioning normally. Look up info for him on the web and see what he recommends.

Best wishes.
