go to the doctor?

Breaking the tick out was a bad idea. Chances are, there is still some bit of the head inside the body, in which case, yes, you might have some issues.

Where did you go that a tick would lodge itself there? :Q

I went on a hike in the woods several days this week, but I was wearing pants, and a hoodie.

pants tucked into socks?

ticks will head straight for the hairy parts. that's what they do.

when I was ~10, I endured some nasty chigger bites on the ball sack. It was pretty ruthless. the only relief from the furious itching was calamine lotion. Then, imagine walking around all day (we were on vacation-summer in DC 🙁) for a week with calamined balls.

Is this what men have become? Freaked out by a fucking tick? FAIL.

If you knew anything about Lyme disease, you may be concerned a bit also. But then again, you don't believe in washing your hands after you take a shit.

No, I'm not concerned at all. So a freaking bug bit me and latched onto my skin? I'm supposed to be scared of the big bad tick? Sure, tick could be bad and I'll deal with him by yanking and burning his ass out of my flesh.

I'm a fucking eagle scout you pussies. It's not that big of a deal. Learn to take care of yourself.

-edit-
I know this post sounds like trolling but learn to take care of yourself you fucking pussies.

You're an idiot.

You're not supposed to be scared of a big, bad tick. You're supposed to be scared of the ones you don't see, the ones that can fuck over your neural network permanently. But of course, the almighty knowall spidey already knew that, so mums the point.

also, Eagle Scout? BFD. I put in six miles (yes, miles) of high tensile fencing - by hand - on my dad's farm a few years ago. Found a half dozen or so wood ticks every night coming in from the fields. Fed 'em to the dogs.

Well at least you know what to do with them. Sorry to side track but you can tell by responses that this forum is full of pussies. It's a freaking TICK. If he's been latched onto you balls for 5 days and is bigger than a pea then you need to be concerned.

quit trolling you bitch

I remember finding a wood tick on the golden once... the thing was the size of a quarter. Took the fat bastard out to the front stoop and splattered it all over with a hammer. I was maybe 10 at the time. Good times.

Lyme disease isn't any joke. I got it a couple of years ago. I was sick as shit and my balls swelled up. Big balls aren't what they're cracked up to be :^/

To the OP...

Just keep an eye on the site for the trademark bullseye rash. I didn't get that in my case, but I think most of the time you will. I suggest staying away from the doctor unless you really get sick. Not only is it a waste of time, and money; Many times they'll put on antibiotics as a precaution, and the antibiotics suck. They make you photosensitive as hell, and if you go into the sun, your skin will get trashed. My skin probably aged 10 years because of that, and I have some suspicious marks that I need to get checked by a dermatologist.

Ugh, ticks. I used to live in Manitoba and the fuckers (wood ticks) were everywhere.

I hate those little bastards.

I'm not trolling. It's a freaking TICK! If you pussies have ever been outside you would know you are going to get ticks and they're going to work really fast towards you pits and crotch.

Sorry to be so harsh, but man the fuck up dude.

srsly, lyme disease isn't all that common. Don't worry about it unless you see a big freaking rash on your arm sometime next week or start feeling like crap.

Why don't you chill out spouting your horseshit. I spent more time outside last year, than you have your whole life. In addition to that, I've probably removed more ticks from myself than everyone else in this thread combined ;^)

Ticks are serious, and someone who hasn't dealt with them much has every right to be worried.

if you start having symptoms of Lyme disease like feeling achy and tired, ask your doctor for some antibiotics like Doxycycline- it will kill it

and as an added plus, it will take care of chlamydia and syphilis too!

spidey07 is just jealous that everyone else has pussy and he doesn't and he isn't quite sure how to get some. He's tried beating his chest and yelling nonsensical things at the jungle animals but still no takers.

Here's hoping you or loved one contract Lyme disease.

Found it on my thigh a few inches from my genitalia. Took awhile to get it off, but I'm not sure if I got it all. The body broke in half while getting it out, leaving the head still attached. I used some tweezer's, and I managed to get everything that was visible out. I'm still worried about lyme disease though. Any tips anyone can offer me?

You're having sex with this woman aren't you?

Yeah but the concern about lymes is valid. My gma has it and it has caused her troubles for years and years now 🙁

I had a tick bite beteen my toes that didn't heal for almost six months. It kept getting irritated, and itchy, really fvcking frustrating. I'm so glad it's better now.

I know of a number of people who've gotten Lyme disease, it's pretty serious business. One lady let it go undiagnosed and ended up getting really bad meningitis, fucked her up bad (brain damage, stuff like that), although she's lucky to even be alive. Farmers have been handicapped or even died because they neglect tick bites.

I think deer ticks are the only ones who really carry it, though, so if it wasn't one of them you should be fine OP. If it was a deer tick just talk to your doctor so you guys can keep an eye out for symptoms of Lyme disease. I've had plenty of tick bites in my lifetime and never had problems, so chances are you're fine, but better safe than sorry.
