I'll bump an extraordinarily old thread just to comment on how great this movie was. The story was so believable that it was no suprise to me at the end when it turned out to be based on fact.

Some crazy shit going on in the world. Sad really.

Just stay out of the ghetto favela's and you have no problems. Brazil is awesome, and much of it feels far from 3rd world, it feels like oldschool europe.

The first time I saw the title it threw me off. I thought it was gonna be some stupid jeebus praising flick. Damn good movie indeed.
