This show was amazing, yea its been a year since it was over, but it was great, i was hooked from the beginning

I know there is a second season, is it as good as first?
 
Hope they do that labor day marathon this year again....


but I don't know why I'd be excited over that...since I don't have cable anymore. 🙁
 
24 Season 1. Greatest 20 hours. I never saw it on FOX, so it was pure bliss watching 3-4 episodes on the weekend late at night w. the family.

I'd have to agree rh71, but it's still the best show on TV, right ahead of The Shield in my opinion 🙂
 
No, 24 Season 2 was not the best show on television. Right now that goes to Six Feet Under. Season 2 was a major disapointment and should not even be considered in the same category as Season 1.
 
Agreed. I missed it but got it on DVD. The wifey and I fell in love with it immediately and ended up watching all 24 episodes in the period of 3 days over a weekend. When Season 2 comes out on DVD we're gonna watch the whole thing on a weekend as well. Just sit there and put down about 8 hours/day (no commercials). First season was so sweet.

I'd say Alias is a pinch ahead of 24, actually... were you one of those who argued with me in the 2nd season finale 24 thread? 😀 I do like them both as far as entertainment is concerned.

 
After I watched season one on DVD I thought that there was no way that season 2 could be as good. After watching all of season 2 on TV I can say it is even better. Bring on season 3!
 
I just started watching Season 1 on Friday and can't stop


I'm on episode 14 now. Great stuff.


Too bad you guys are saying Season 2 is definetly not as good but I'll still try to watch it all.

Uh, what? Season 2 was excellent. It may not have been as new as the first, but it's still damn good.
 
Season 1 had ZERO expectations. Season 2 had to live up to S1's standards. Season 2 is hardly a disappointment or crap like what others are saying, but it's not quite AS good as Season 1
 
Oh I'm not saying Season2 was crap, but they could have done so much more. It was predictable and towards the end definitly died down. I think everyone here had their jaw dropping for the last 5 minutes of episode 23 in season 1. In season2, they didn't have that.
 
i can agree with the excitement over season 1 (haven't seen season 2, i'm in for the marathon (i saw season 1 in 24 hours (1 hour for cooking)). and even though season 1 was neet, i had a strange feeling about it. the first 12 or 13 hours are awesome *spoiler* (until he gets wife and doughter back- then in the beginning of the afternoon it just seemed a second rollout, for the next baddies. and then about 17:00 i accomodated myself with the new baddies and the pricle started again until the end*/spoiler* season 1 is a two-parter for me. i hope season 2 is more coherent...
