I've read 'em all.

Digital Fortress = first book = good one. Femal star.

Deception Point = 2nd book=a real misfire. Sort of like a Clive Cussler book. I disliked, but finished reading it simply because I started it. Female star.

Angels & Demons = 3rd book = mixed. Some of it's really good, some so fantastical it undermines the book. Some really weird, twisted psychological stuff. Introduces male star, & starts a future series of books with him as star.

DaVinci Code = 4th book = mostly good.

Book set in Washington DC = future book.

You will have to weed out a lot of bs stuff, but you go deep enough you will see some interesting things.

Not sure if I am looking at the right things, but those books don't look like much of interest to me.

none of those are books above. They are stories that may have books based on them.

They all tie into DaVinci and his codes. In and other itself DaVinci was really just declaring he didn't buy into Jesus....or at least who he was representing as him.

I took from the book that he questioned the version of facts as decided upon by the constantinople council... especially the imbalance between the male and female roles in the church.... I do not think that he was questioning the fact that Jesus is the messiah.... quite the contrary.... and since I'm not of the christian faith its fair to assume that I'm a bit unbiased on that matter...

As of his other books.... I really liked A&D and deception point... was not too impressed with digital fortress... all his books are very cookie cut though... but entertaining none the least...

DaVinci code sucks...

black man writes a book about conspiracies, he's branded a militant and a racist.

white man writes a book about conspiracies, it's a best seller.

man, kiss my a$$, Dan Brown.

I don't want to get the board in a big debate over it, its been done already. I will say I loved the book. There was suspense at every turn of the page. It made me not want to put it down. I wasn't worried about its accuracy. I wasn't reading it to learn more about the Holy Grail. I was reading it to entertain myself, and it did a fine job of this.

So I am wondering if any of Dan Browns other books are any good. I am considering Digital Fortress, as it looks like an area I may be interested in. Again even though I may know abotu this area, then I did of the area of the davinci code, I will not be reading it for its accuracy. So if it is again an inaccurate book, thats fine you can mention that. But what i want to know is if it will keep me wanting to read more. Is it interesting? What about his other books, thanks

I have read two or three of his books besides Code. They are all murder mysteries which use some sort of gimmick, i.e., The Holy Grail. They are not bad reading particularly if you liked "Code".

Oh yeah, don't forget he writes fiction.

Yeah Deception Point, Digital Fortress, and Angels and Demons are all good. Same concept but like you said earlier, they all have you by the seat of your pants as you turn the pages to the next!

DaVinci Code = Foucault's Pendulum for Dummies

Actually it's not even that good.
