I just finished this build and wanted you guys to check out my benchmarks and temps to see if they're what you would expect with this setup. I use this rig mostly for gaming.

well, tbh its no biggie for some people to look at benches unless its for upcoming hardware soon to be released... what kind of responses were you really looking for?

Gaming can be really fun on a Q9300, you might top out at 3.5ghz but you are going to need some good cooling, low ambients or water to run it 24/7 for maximum life...
 
Thanks. I guess I thought someone might have a similar system and could tell me if my numbers were in line with theirs. I just wanted to make sure I haven't, you know, installed the heatsink incorrectly or something like that.

How is your CPU 16 degrees cooler than your system at idle and 4 degrees cooler at load? I don't see a peltier in your rig...

 
We have the (edit) almost the same 3Dmark06 score.. I'm at 12250 or so.

I thought a comparable Q9xxx and a GTX 260 would nub my system.
