A nice stout just in time for the holidays.

The hard part is done and now all I have to do is wait. I will probaly bottle half for some gifts and keg the rest for me.

From a kit or did you brew it up from your own beer making skills?

If so, share the receipe...

My own receipe

3/4 lb crushed crystal malt
1/2 lb crushed roasted barley
1/4 lb crushed black patent malt
3.3 lb dark malt syrup
3 lb dark dry malt extract
1 lb extra dark dry malt extract
1oz bullion hops (during the boil)
1oz kent golding hops (finishing)
1 11g packet Dry yeast (Irish Ale)

OG 1.060
FG should be around 1.016-1.018

If need the specifics for how I prepared the yeast let me know I can post it.
