7700 weighs alot. i would get the cnps7000a alcu or 400g or below.

Oh yeah - ditto on that. IIRC, only the 7000B-AlCu is within weight spec - 7000B-Cu, 7700-AlCu, and 7700-Cu are all over spec.

The 7000b-AlCu does not weigh too much. The 7000b-Cu, 7700-AlCu, and 7700-Cu DO weight too much. Not too much for your motherboard, too much for your CPU. It puts too much physical stress on the processor chip you stick it on.
