Probably, VID isn't a perfect indicator though of potential.

I've had a 1.325 VID x3210 that overclocked better (needed less voltage) than a 1.25 VID X3210. Course my current 1.225 VID x3210 overclocks the best out of all 3 (only needs 1.3v actual to hit 3.6ghz).

whats funny is this came in my new dell inspiron 530 system. So i will need to replace the mobo to be able to start tweaking it. Other than the tape mode

Anyonr recommend a inexpensive replacement mobo? I dont need raid, just sata, ethernet, firewire and good onboard audio is fine.
