Forecast outside: Rain, 22C, with severe thunderstorm watch

Forecast inside: Rain, 21C

The inside forecast is a little concerning... roof is leaking again. Roofers will come by to check tomorrow. I'd be freaking out if I did the roof myself since I'd be annoyed that I screwed up and now have to figure out what I did wrong, but I can just outsource that problem back to them now. :p

I just hope they can figure it out, as I am stumped as to how it's leaking. Went up to check and everything looks fine. The flashing they fixed still is a bit questionable, but that does not correlate with the area of the sheathing I see that's wet.

It's kinda eerie, and it smells kinda good, but I could see this get a bit irritant if it lasted for a long time. It usually seems to last a few days for us then clears up.

Couple other pics taken with phone, doesn't really do it justice though.

The heat is leaving but now we are getting very unstable weather. It's raining now.

Yesterday, people were reporting funnel clouds in our area. They quickly dissipated and that is not unusual here.

We were getting super weird clouds here the other day, they were all moving in different directions, was wild to see. Even saw clouds moving upwards. Never seen that before. It looked like smoke, but it was clouds.

Hot, miserable, nasty ..... but somehow we're almost a degree below normal for the month so far. That looks like it's going blown all to hail next week with an extended furnace streak.

Finally getting some nice weather again, the rain stopped and we're in the 20's now. Going to overnight at my off grid property on monday, possibly even go sunday night just to setup everything. Hopefully this nice weather stays.

Finally starting to get back into the high 90s (say 37C) but it's unusual for it to take until late July to get this kind of weather in San Antonio. Still no 100s forecast yet but I suspect that's because the center of the heat dome is northeast of us. Once it moves northwest of us that's when we seem to get the really nasty heat and the dome is supposed to be in that position at the end of the month.

It is unseasonably cool here. Supposed to be in the mid to high 80s all week, then mid to high 90s next week. For the middle/end of July, it's normally 100 at least. Probably jinxed it typing this.

24C but the nights have been going down to single digits. Stayed in a tent for 2 nights and I always forget just how cold those get, they're not exactly insulated.

20C which is quite warm for this time, and we've been getting heavy rain for the past hour or so.

I'm on night shift, guess I'll find out in 7 hours when I get home if my roof still leaks or not.

Ever want to hit a bad weather record just to hit the record?

We hit 9 days of Heat Index readings of 105 or higher. That tied two other years going back to the early 80s.

Today, the tenth day, we're likely to fall short by a couple of degrees, only to ramp up again for the next 3 - 4 days which would blast the old record.

We've endured it dammit, put it in the friggin' books!!!!

Getting lots of hail and some lightning. We rarely ever get hailstorms here but have had multiple this year. And there was some flash flooding.
