for everything Ford doesn't have going for it, they do makes some safe vehicles

Glad you are OK 😉. You probably want to take at least tomorrow off to rest and relax your body and mind.

Good god....10 and 30 MPH opposing can result in some pretty nasty scenes, I'm glad you're okay...but I'd be REAL careful with yourself, since after my accident, my sister's and my necks and shoulders didn't start hurting til a few days afterwards.

Yeah, I'm sure I'll be feeling sore tomorrow, but I'm grateful that there are no broken bones.

I'll try and get some pics. I wasn't of the state of mind to whip out a camera with the cops and paramedics standing around. "And here's a pic of the alleged driver who hit me!"

But I'll be taking pictures of the car once I get it from the lot where it was impounded (if I ever get it back).

I sign a waiver saying that I deny Paramedic treatment.
I don't think I would have done that. I would have gone to whole nine yards to get everything checked out. I'm glad you are feeling OK, though.

Go get checked out by a doctor as soon as possible. I was in an accident three months ago. For the first 3 days after the accident I was a little sore and in a daze. The 4th day I woke up with a really bad head ache and my back hurt from my neck down to my knees. I also had other symptoms of whip lash.

Three months since the accident, my back still hurts and I am getting physical therapy for it.

I was driving a 98 Ford Taurus. So that's a pretty big car itself.

Anyway, I came out of the accident pumping with adrenaline, but not too ticked. If it was a drunk driver, or someone driving recklessly, I would have gotten postal. Granted the man shouldn't have been driving in his condition, but I was bit more sympathetic.
Glad you are OK.

That's a very generous attitude you have there.

Yeah be careful. You can have something called a walking spinal injury, it means that you've done damage to your back but are still able to walk and most times not notice it .

Head on collisions are very, very scary. I was very lucky to have walked away from one last July - where I hydroplained into an oncoming rig (thankfully he wasn't hauling a trailer behind him), and we were both going about 30-40 MPH. It knocks the breath out of you, and there's that split second you wonder if you're still alive. Good to hear you made it out OK!
