Anyone have a better suggestion for a cell phone company? Sprint service sucks. We sat there for 30 minutes and couldn't even get a hint of a response from the (obviously mentally handicapped) workers.

I'm trying to get away from having to have my credit rerun since we are trying to get a house and I don't want too many hits on my credit. My goal was to upgrade our phones with our current Sprint plan, but I'm sick of having to deal with their BS.

The cheaper the phone, the better.

Honestly, I don't think your going to find any of the other providers are any better.

try verizon, i had them for a few years and never had a bad signal. Now I get a free nextel from work, so i'm cheap to pay for a phone. My wife has been with verizon for years and won't use anyone else.

once in a while i walk by the sprint store and there is always people in there using the pay the bill by cash machine. i guess they haven't heard of auto billing by credit card.

Verizon has the best coverage, followed by ATT and Cingular. T-Mobile is cheap, has good coverage in major cities, and I would have to say that they have the best CS from any of the wireless providers.

i've never used spring, i've used cingular and verizon...hated both. When I switched to t-mobile, it was AWESOME! Also, try finding a phone on Amazon.com; the deals are incredible. You get your phone for either free or $-50 or something like that 😀

Get a motorola v600 from amazon.com, great phone, even better price, and excellent service; i think they also just added friday to "free nights and weekends", so you can talk as long as you want on friday 🙂

My $0.02

The people using the machine haven't. Sprint has automatic payment online.

I've been a Sprint customer for over 5 years and have never had a single issue.

I noticed that Amazon has a V610 through T-mobile for -$200 each. Anyone ever use that rebate?

been on that particular plan for about 2 months now.

built a worksheet in excel - after getting all the rebates (for 5 phones), selling the phones on ebay (i'm using my old ones), i'm paying -$36 a month. in other words, for the entire year, i'm MAKING almost $400.

it's a pain in the ass because of the 10 rebates, but it's nice because we have three extra lines we can give to whoever we want (probably her parents and my dad - that we we talk for free whenever we want).

we've been with TMo for a little over two years now and really don't have that many complaints...
