Put it back in the case but it fell out :-X Trying to install the software, but the Nano won't format, nor will it turn off. Damn. She just got it today.

There is no obvious damage, but it's just the principal behind it. I broke my Mom's hour old Nano. I put it back in the box at her wishes and carried it, only for it to fall out and break.

Now all you have to do is scratch it, then return it because it's under warranty (see previous thread) and obviously poorly-designed.

Here is how to turn it off.... turn the hold switch on and off and then hold the menu and select buttons... it should reset it... hopefully. Otherwise check the apple site to reset it.
