Just bought Yokohama A520's and cross drilled rotors!

Sweet!! The rotors are Zimmerman with Mintex Red Box pads. Here is how my car is right now:

Anybody else using the A520's? Supposedly a damn fast tire.🙂

ummmmm....My friends old turbocharged VR6 Golf that was pushing around 350 hp.

I had Yokohama A520s on my '93 Trans Am. Liked them better than the Goodyear GS-Cs that came with the car.

Great in wet weather also.

Well the wheel has a big BMW logo in the center. I just figured it was BMW.
 
Hey, hey. No lowballs now.

I had to replace the rear pads and rotors and the dealership wanted $300CDN for the stock parts. I got these from parts4vws.com for $130USD.

The tires are just plain awesome. I drive pretty hard (auto-x), I need decent tires.

Thanks for the amp comment. I'll get some matching speakers when I have money, I'm a student and can't afford better than the VR's. I will be going with OZ Matrix next time.

Yes, the brakes really aren't engine, trans & exhaust, but they also aren't suspension, wheel & tire either. I took the first to mean drivetrain.

After I graduate and get working I will be adding a turbo setup and until then I will just replace parts with nice parts as they wear out.
