Just bought the Ratpadz!!

This thing is made for ball mice but people kept saying it also is good for optical. Not!!

My mouse keeps skipping.

Plus $11 for this cheap plastic?

Dude, the Ratpadz is RULE! I love it...I've only had it a couple hours, but it just makes movement much more accurate. It's also extremely durable. Maybe I'll use it as a dinner plate. Anyways, this is a welcome change from the desktop surface I was using. I think it works quite well with an optical mosue...no skipping yet! w00t!

I thought the ratpadz and everglides were not that good on Optical mice. I have a white everglide and its not that great on the optical mouse I got.. But it worked wonders on my regular mouse.

Surface 1030 + Optical Wheelmouse here, works beautifully. Black pads are supposed to be quite good for optical mice, I'm surprised you're having so much trouble with it.

Finally my Logitech Optical is working like it should. I can tell you it likes the black surface much more than the tan/white/beige(not quite tan, not quite white, not quite as dark as beige...not quite as dark as tan...) of the top of my desk. I LOVE THIS RATPAD!!!!!!

Another extremely awesome feature of the ratpadz is the way your mouse just glides over the surface. Did I mention that it's extremely sturdy? Without the ratpadz, my mouse used to hang sometimes. I've had my computer on for three hours and my mouse has been readily available for my use everytime.

I'm gonna go tell Kytle that this product just simply rocks!! I wish I wouldn't gotten this before Christmas...this would make for a killer stocking stuffer.

If you have an optical mouse, the best surface is a plain desk, my desk is perfect and works better then any mousepad ive tryed.

Trackballs work great with no pad and very little desktop space.
