just bought operation flash point... awesome game!!

anyone else play this game?? this is the most realistic FPS i've ever seen! None of this crouch and sprinting at the same time. I think this game is a break through in terms of realism... you even run out of breath if you sprint for too long and your aim suffers because of it!

if only the helicopter and planes were more fun to fly. i cant do anything if i fly the a10 except crash. its too hard to try to fire at any targets while flying. but the vehicles are awesome! it would be really cool if tanks can crush cars instead of just bump into em! ah well maybe someone will make a mod that will do that

the vechicles are difficult to control... but I interpet it as part of the realism. I usually end up killing myself too every time I take the skies... the risk is part of the fun! Can't wait for mods to starting coming out!

I didn't really find the flying all that hard. hitting targets while flying was a differant story! Ya this game is definetly a keeper. Love the realism. I live in Idaho and had to order the eurapean version when it first came out there cause I just couldn't wait.

i haven't played this game yet, but i don't understand why people deem this game "cs killer." from what i've seen, there are tanks, planes, and it is strictly simulation. counter-strike's goal was never to be full-on simulation. imho, comparing these two games is like comparing apples to oranges.

No, its not a cs killer.
I bought this game today with a very open mind. I wish i would have tried the demo first but i have win2k so i couldnt. The way the maps are is pretty nice, i was really impressed till i got to the first mission with the soldier. The controls suck! Plain and simple!:disgust:
I couldnt use the scroll on the mouse and there wasnt anything in options to invert the mouse which is in every game that i have tried for sometime now. The realism as a soldier is hardly that, I will continue to play this game to see if it grows on me but i must say that i am very disappointed with it. The tanks and such are really cool. I think that if they fix the soldiers controls and aiming, that they could have a cs killer! but fer now its sux0r IMHO. I wish i woulda spent $40 on something else.
