Just bought one of those electro-shock muscle sitmulators, if you have no experience in them, don't reply.

IT'S NOT AN INFOMERCIAL ONE!!!, it's a high-grade ($350) machine. Kinda cool. I have it on my chest right now while I am typing -- it's making it pretty difficult to do so. Anyone have experience with these for muscle growth?

This is the one I got

They are loads of crap and just about every one is under investigation by the FDA (or one of those government things) for fraud.

They have been proven to do nothing at all for muscle growth and are pretty much a scam... story made the news a few weeks ago about the investigation and such.

Hope you enjoy it for $350.

I can see that.. it feels pretty weird, but neat at the same time.

Wait till you discover putting it down there you'll never take it off.

I'm using it for in the evenings. I just got back from an hour-long workout at the gym, but I wanted to see if I could bulk up a little quicker.

It has a 60 money back guarantee, so I figure I'm safe trying it out.

My "ripped" friend said that he used it, and that it only benefited people whose muscles were strong enough to handle it. Sounds like crap to me...

I'm telling you shelly, the bowflex is horrible.

And I have a 60 day money-back guarantee. Besides, I'm not trying to lose weight/burn fat. I'm only using it for muscle growth/definition. Hell, I have 2% body fat.

All right, All right... It's crap. But I'm gonna use it for the next month and see what happens to me. Then I'll report back and let you know what my results were.

The only time I used them was in physical therapy after my shoulder/knee operations.

The infomercial units got recalled you know...

You DO NOT have 2% body fat! The most elite bodybuilders have around 4% to 7% and that's just for contests. You need to post some pics of your 2% body fat physique!

Shelly, I have a bowflex and I think it's great. It's not a substitute for freeweights, but if you want something to use around the house for general exercise, it's great.

According to the analysis my gym did, I have 2.4%.

6'0" - 155 lbs, 21yo. Skin/bone/muscle. No fat.

I think at 2% you're supposed to be dead, so no, I SERIOUSLY doubt you have 2% body fat.

If you can see every single muscle fiber and vein in your body - you probably have 2% bodyfat. Otherwise, I'll call BS. And if you're talking about those cheap plastic calipers the gym uses - that's pretty unreliable. You have any pictures of you without a shirt on? (I've seen a picture of this guy with 2% bodyfat in a magazine once - looked like his skin was literally going to rip off)
