Very easy to assemble indeed!

The case that comes with the unit does not snap shut and it is best to close it using the Raspberry PI logo stickers that come along in the box or just use scotch tape.

Now I am just searching for a monitor that uses HDMI. :)

I'll use the OS choices it gives me for now but hope the steam OS will work on it.

SteamOS is for x86_64 based systems. Even if you did get SteamOS working by recompiling the whole thing for ARM (not a trivial task to say the least), you would need to somehow get games that ran on ARM.
