Here is a link to my system:

I've just purchased the Logitech Z-680 5.1 speakers

Is there a real advantage to upgrading to an Audigy2 over my Audigy1? Currently I'm playing Battlefield 1942, UT2K4, Far Cry and soon Doom3.

I'd have to see a noticeable difference before spending any more money on my computer (or the money pit as my wife calls it)

Thanks

What type of cable do you use for connecting the speakers to the sound card? I recently got those speakers too, but all they included was the analog 6 channel cables. I'm wondering if I should go buy a digital coax cable for better sound?

Kind Regards,

Huge improvement, especially with surround sound.Alot of people say they dont notice a difference though,I did big time.Going from an audigy 1 to an audigy 2, I didnt notice any difference at all,the audigy 2 zs has a little better specs but I havent heard that.
