I gust bought the motherboard because I red about it in anandtech's recent review. I will be buying a CPU and memory. For CPU i'll buy a 2.4 or 2.53. I will run with dual ddr400 but i do not know which brand. Anyone have any suggestions or even experience with his own 655 max? I red in the test that the board could not run 2t cas latency (which leads to a performance decrease i guess?). Was this because of the memory? What memory has been bought so far by users and how well did it work? (and how fast could it be tuned?) I do not seem to understand fully the CAS latency stuff. When you buy memory it says it's latency but is this dependant on the motherboard as well? Also what is the performance increase from CL2.5 to cl2Thanks in advance for any help

P.S. I just found out my m/b is not HT READY. Is it true that it cannot be HT with a bios update?

You have one car that can do 150 horse power & another 160 horse power on turbo. Both cars have same engines, body, seats accessories & the likes. If you drive both, can you tell the difference? The higher the CAS# the slower the ram would run. But you wont be able to tell. More RAM in your system is better than lower CAS#s ;)

I don't think you should really take that review too seriously, especially since they weren't able to run at dual DDR400 speeds for some odd reason.
