Just bought a PS2

Man I worked 40 hours in one week, got 70 bucks taken away by the government and spent almost 300$ on playstation 2 things. I finally bought a PS2, memory card, 2-year warrenty @ best buy, plus Gran turismo 3 for about 270$ after taxes. I know I could've gotten it cheaper but I wanted it now as in today and didnt' want to wait for it to ship. Next on my list is Final Fantasy X (if i can find it cheaper then 50$), Madden 2k3/NFL2k3, and probably some kind of fighting game. Any suggestions on must-have titles or accessories?
 
Madden is selling pretty good at work right now so I'm assuming it's pretty good.

We had a dude try to steal a ps2 today at work but we followed him around for like over an hour and he gave up. He ditched the ps2 in some blue jeans with the security tag ripped off of it.
 
FFX can be found for under $50 easily.. if you wait a few months, I'm sure it'll be with the other $20 titles..

Wait for Tekken 4. 😛
 
You can't go wrong with FFX. What a fantastic game!

If you like electronic music at all Rez and Frequency are a blast and can probably be picked up cheap now. Also SSX Tricky never gets old and of course Grand Theft Auto 3.
 
Woah.. how could I forget about Grand Theft Auto 3.. if you don't have it for your PC, get it for your PS2.. now. 😀

I'm glad someone mentione Metal Gead Solid 2. Get the first one too while you're at it, so you'll understand the story more.
GT3 is really addictive. GTA3 is fun. FFx, and Oh yea, get a copy of ICO. It's great play. 🙂
 
How much did an extended warranty cost you on the PS2? Does anyone find a reason to get a warranty for a PS2? Never heard of a console going bad. Just wondering.

The extended warranty is $25 for 2 years. You would be surprised how many we do get back with manufacturer (sp?) and everyday use problems
