Agreed. At first I was in awe of the Jetta taking a few hints from Audi. I liked it a lot. Then when I started to see 3 of them parked in front of my building, I noticed more and more that it just seems really generic looking.

It's like they took the design from Mattel or something.

New GTi front looks nice, but I have a soft spot for the MKV, which I think is the best design of all.

Exactly. And I guess it's not as bad on the Jetta as the Passat. But yeah, if you asked some toy manufacturer to draw a generic car...this is what you'd get. There is nothing unique, remarkable, or memerable about it other than I remember it's really boring.

Ha ha, it's actually a sliver Lexus LS 460 that belongs to one of the administrators where I work. I bust him on it constantly, telling him that it ages him at least 15 years every time he gets in.

It's simple and clean. Unlike some makers... coughmazdacough.

The best part is the headlights are horizontal, instead of the wacky vertical lights we've been seeing.
