To be more specific, a Gainward 128MB golden sample...going to that from Radeon LE, definately going to overclock. Running on an Epox 8KHA+ if that matters 🙂

You can overclock that Golden Sample card to GF3 Ti500 speeds 🙂 (which is 225/550 I think). All I know is, you can AT LEAST reach regular GF3 clockspeeds with that GS sucker 🙂

Another question...are there any sites out there equivalent to Rage3D for Nvidia cards? 😛

A Ti500 speed is 240/500, many Ti200s hit 240 easily, but some have hard time going to 500. The Golden Sample shouldn't have any problems hitting Ti500 speeds, but with frequency adjust in the nVidia drivers, the highest they allow you to go is 220/500, so you'll have to use a 3rd party overclocking utility. The Golden Sample may come pre-overclocked from what I heard.

<< I suppose you need to know you wasted some money getting the 128 MB version 😉 >>

Well if you needed a card to last you at least 18 months, it's only logical to get 128 at this time...besides, it was only $25 more 🙂
