Just bought a new DVD player and HDD.What are the optimal EIDE connections?

I just bought a new Asus 8/40 DVD drive and a Maxtor 20GB 7200rpm HDD and I was wondering how to connect them properly together with my older IBM 10.1GB 5400rpm and Creative CDRW .
I Want to install Windows ME on the new drive.
Does anyone have suggestions about this ?

You have sort of the same configuration as me. I have both my hard drives on IDE0 and the DVD-ROM and CD-RW on IDE1, with the DVD-ROM set to Master and CD-RW set to Slave.

Suggestions? Don't install WinME. 😉
