Specs:
Samsung TSH 552U, supposed to be able to burn at 16X,,, I only have one media type here with me at the moment (Kodak 4x dvd-r) with my older 4x burner I can burn at 1x, 2x and 4x, but with the new burner It wont burn faster than 2x....

I have also noticed that when I insert a dvd into the samsung my computer hard locks until it reads the cd. (I can move the mouse but that is all, sound is cut off, nothing moves any more)
My computer is fairly recent, amd athlon 64 3500+ 1gig of ram, geforce 6600GT
When I try to choose the aspi driver I cannot see any of my two dvd drives. I have to use SPTI to be able to see my two drives...
Any ideas?
