Hello, this is my first time posting here and I had a question with a new computer i just built.

Well, im not way to computer savvy, so here goes:

I bought a amd64 3000+ 939 processor and 400mhz 3200 ddr ram

the cpu frequency on my bios comes at 200mhz. What CPU freq do I put it at? thanks!

your cpu frequency is at 200mhz? Dont u mean that the FSB is at 200 mhz?
The multiplier should be at 9 (highest number), and the FSB at 200,...that will give u 9 x 200 = 1.8 ghz,..which is the stock speed of your processor

well, going into my cmos and looking at what it says in the "MB intelligent tweaker" section, it has CPU frequency at 200NHz with the range being 200-400MHz. SO basically what does that mean? and where should it be?

CPU Frequency I believe is another wording for the FSB? If I'm not mistaken I think I remember doing overclocking on a rig I built for someone by changing CPU frequency I believe, 200 to 250 fsb. If your not overclocking, just leave it alone.

basically i am leaving it alone atm xD

I am installing windows on it, so I cant DL that program. But when it boots up it says I have a CPU clock speed at 200MHz, maybe thats what it means?
