Sorry about the horrible picture quality. The first and last picture were taken with my phone, and the middle 3 were sent to me via email from the guy. Ill take better pics when i clean it up some.

Volkswagon 1600 Engine
4 speed w/ reverse
front and rear brakes
rust-free (yay!)
headlights w/ high/low beam
turn signals front and back
brake lights
etc.

basically, it runs pretty well, looks great, and goes pretty fast (faster than im willing to push it).

DuuuuudE!!! I wanna drive! I wanna drive!!!

I have driven one of those ONCE in my life...It was such f'in FUN!!!!

Drove it on private property complete with dirt dunes, jumps, banked turns...also big rocks, tree stumps, wild animals, etc.

And the best part? I was buzzed out of my freakin' skull on cheap beer!! 😀

Driving with one hand, chugging beer with the other...we shot guns afterwards.

God, I miss Texas. :brokenheart:

he asked for 1000. we asked if he would do 900 since we have to buy a tire, but he said no. i was on the fence until i looked for them on ebay and didnt find one for less than 2000 that i liked, so then i told him 1000 was fine. it actually worked out to be a really good deal since everything works fine and it runs perfectly.

i actually just bought 4 rectangular lights to mount on top of it. i have a feeling i will roll it promptly after the install, however.

i think you need it to have working lights, brakes, exhaust, seatbelts, and all the other small stuff. it has all of that except it probably wouldnt pass on the exhaust check. also, i would want to put a windshield on it if i was going to drive it on the road. also, we would have to pay insurance on it and get it registered. i dont know if i want to mess with all of that yet.

we only drove it on the road (last picture) to get it home.

edit: oh, and i think you need mirrors.
 
Awesome! They look bigger up close... I remember seeing dozens and dozens of them flying over the hills on the Lake Michigan dunes, it looked fun as hell.
