Hey! Just got this monitor and loving it. Coming from a flat 27" 1080p/60Hz, let me tell you this Dell curved sexyness is awesome.

Now, I have the latest Nvidia and monitor drivers installed, but the G-Sync option in Nvidia Control Panel...I also have "FreeSync enabled on my monitor.

What could be the problem?

https://www.nvidia.com/en-in/geforce/products/g-sync-monitors/g-sync-hdr-requirements/
"System Requirement: Must support DisplayPort 1.2 directly from the GPU."
I have a newer MSI monitor that supports Freesync and a nvidia 1660 card. My monitor is not on nvidia's g-sync compatible list but I can enable g-sync and set refresh rate to 165Mhz in the nvidia control panel but only when using a DisplayPort cable.
According to this site your 970 could be g-sync compatible. https://blurbusters.com/gsync/supported-graphics-cards/
