Good luck finding magazines for it, at least at a reasonable price. Any magazine over 10 rounds is sold out.

At a local gun store, even 7 round 1911 mags were sold out. Come on?

I'm selling a case of p-mags one at a time for ~$65+5 shipping on ebay & gun broker. There's no way any anti-gun legislation is passing, suckers.

Don't count on it. If they don't pass some kind of legislation, they'll go on record as being against kids. The last time some bullshit happened we got stuck with the Patriot act, and DHS. Nothing like a crisis to provoke some ill thought knee jerk legislation. There will definitely be legislation, and the only variable is how bad it will be.

I can't even listen to NPR anymore. The constant anti-gun drumbeat is tiresome, and it pisses me off :^S

This sucks. It's not at the top of my list, but I was thinking about putting together a 6.8 mm AR sometime in the future. However, purchasing anything at a gun grabbing price premium just goes against my frugal nature. Sucks!

I listed some Federal XM193 for $0.45/round today and sold it within an hour. I sold steel cased Tulammo .223 for $0.35/round yesterday.

I was selling Wolf steel cased 7.62x39 for $0.25/round last week, when I get more cases in next week it will be closer to $0.35/round.

The NRA holds enough sway over the Senate to keep a bill from making it out of there. They have the House absolutely locked up. By the time the bill is actually presented to Congress, tempers will have cooled and this whole thing will blow over. The end result being that a lot of people's first gun is now an assault rifle purchased during this panic.

Any gun owners here planning on liquidating their inventory and making some cash? Seems like now is the perfect time to do so. And when stricter gun laws inevitably DON'T come to pass, you can just buy your stuff back for less.

And besides, it's not like any of you need guns anyway.

I purchased my stuff a long time ago before the first Obama presidential term. I think I picked up 30 round magazines for a buck each as they were surplus Israeli training supplies. I would only sell the AR15 if someone gave me $2k or more. It is one of my favorite range guns, albeit ammo makes it very expense to enjoy.

It's not a 'need,' it's just a fun hobby that a bunch of nuts construct their identity around.

Yeah, I know. I'm not really opposed to gun ownership per se. I just see it as being not unlike any other wildly expensive hobby that some people just take too seriously.

Guns are like sports cars. Fun, expensive, dangerous, and mostly unnecessary.
