just being on aol makes you forbidden from posting?

i thought you just couldn't sign up with an aol address. i'm using my sucky netzero account now since msn (microsoft notwork) stopped working, and my family had to sign up for aol (convincing my father about the benefits of broadband is a lost cause, but i'm gone in 4 weeks so oh well). ugh.

<< Yes, you can't even post from the AOL network. >>

Or Compuserve since they are 0wned by AOL.

<< Yawp! Apparently it had to do with AOL not taking care of their own >>

Yeah, there were some trolls posting from AOHell accounts, the mods notified AOHell, AOHell said "tough luck" and didnt do anything about it, AOHell got banned.

It doesn't matter though. You can complain and complain, they'll never do anything. That's why they're banned from this forum.

Exactly. I was forced to use AOL for a short period of time...man it was torture not being able to post here. Gah.

I know how you feel, my friend.

<< haha, I wonder if any colleges are banned from here. >>

Yep and they were banned for the same reason. I guess this means college sucks as well.

well anyone on aol or anywhere else could simply use one of the 1000s of public proxy servers to post here. but then again, an aol user wouldn't know what or how to do that, so it all works out i guess.
