Wow...everytime I thought the game was over, it kept going...first I thought it was over when he rescued Nazomi, and I was disappointed...then I thought it was over after we beat up Terry, and then after I beat up the weirdo guy...then that was about it. That game had more credits than any movie I've ever seen :) One thing I didn't like was that I found all sorts of crap that never seemed to matter in the entire game...like that white leaf and stuff. Ahh well...good game, where's the next chapter :)

Yeah, it is one of those games that just keeps going on and on and on... Grandia 2 was like that too.

One of my main dissapointments with it is the job you get. Now there is nothing wrong with the job (actually I think it is a blast), but once you get to it you are completley stuck. I mean you start getting all this cash but you can't do a damn thing with it. It should have allowed you to take days off and not force you to stay at the harbor until like 10 pm each night.

Other than that great game.

<< dreamcast is a dead system, there is no next chapter! >>

Actually, there is. Its coming out in November.

What, you think those millions of people with Dreamcasts aren't going to buy any more games just because the system is dead?

<< Is it really good? I'm wondering if I need to find a Dreamcast for this.... >>

Yes, yes it is. Shenmue and Skies of Arcadia are worth the price of the Dreamcast.

<< 'n sync 4eva! >>

Hmmm....maybe you should shut up and get out of my thread?

<< dreamcast is a dead system, there is no next chapter! >>

No it isn't. The next chapter I believe will still be on Dreamcast. And in case you've forgotten, Sega is writing for other systems now. So its not like the future chapters couldn't appear for the Gamecube or PS2 or(god forbid) the XBox.

True, true...I thought maybe I would have to do that until I had the 200,000 yen for the airplane ticket to hong kong. Guess not. Well, since you have a saved file at the END of the game, maybe you can start out the next chapter using that save file, with that amount of money and all of your moves?

Yeah, Chapter 2 will let you use your previous save. Sometime this summer I need to work on getting a "perfect" game for it so that I when I start Chapter 2 Ryo will be kicking ass :)

lol, good idea. I never did any training early in the game, so none of my moves ever got into the advanced level. And I only ever got that stupid shadow dodge thing that the homeless guy teaches you to work once.

Yeah, it's a great game. My friend bought the Dreamcast for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 and Virtua Tennis. To him, Shenmue and Grandia 2 were a bonus :)

The Dreamcast is an excellent buy, especially now with so many great games on clearance sale. The graphics, sound, gameplay on many are simply superb. Definately one of the best buys I made in the last year or so.

I have definately got my gaming dollars' worth when buying a DC-considering the whole setup cost about as much as the average videocard.

Even if the system is discontinued, there will be some more games out in the near future.

Yeah, and check out Best Buy for great deals. The one near me has insane prices - $15 for Virtua Tennis, $10 for Jet Grind Radio, and everything else is either $5 or $20 it seems (only like the newest games are full price). Its crazy :)
