you know if they did away with that whole first perspective, the last 30 minutes of the ep could have stood by itself and still make sense.

And I really dislike how they threw the Ford F-150 and Mustang in there on purpose within the storyline. I mean I know they most likely sponsored them (like they do with "24") but it's over-the-top. "Hey the F-150!" ... yeah ok... even though it's stuck behind an Explorer... they chose that car while the Mustang had a good 5-10 seconds on them already... what.. was the Explorer in neutral when they pushed it aside ??

Oh yeah, I forgot - this was television. :D

"OMG Vaughn, there's a recall on our Focus!"
"No way! What's it for?"
"I dunno....wait holy hell, there's 11 recalls!"
"Noooo....this is worse than SD6 nuking Russia!"
"Quick! To the Ford dealer before our car blows up!"

I know!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF! I didn't watch it on TV but downloaded it off right away and came up with the same thing. I thought maybe the guy that captured it messed up but I guess it was the same on ABC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Q :Q :Q

That's how the eipsode was supposed to be. The first half was from one set of characters perspective and the second have was from another characters perspective. They overlapped some of the scenes to probably kill time/add filler.

RH71, do you mind explaining?

1st half, good guys perspective
2nd half, bad guys perspective

I'm not sure I like that though because the bad guys are getting too much air time, it should be all about Sidney! Otho, I don't mind seeing the blonde ;)

For all of you who didn't know, Lauren Reed (Vaughn's wife) also played the hot nanny on a Friends episode where she was a lesbian and had an on-screen kiss with a chick. Mmmmm. I'm liking the roles she takes. The previous Alias had her in a dressing room standing there for a good 2 minutes in only her lingerie. Mmmmm.

Anyway, the 2 perspectives seemed very much like a time-filler... because if you think about it (after watching the whole ep), if the 1st perspective weren't included, the entire story would still make sense.

I think Ford dropped the ball on this one. ;)

And BTW, nice catch about the Focus... I do remember they zoomed in on the SVT.

that's exactly what I was thinking...man, she's getting more screen time and she's definately looking hotter than Jennifer these days. They need to bring back that episode where Jennifer was onboard a plane and she had to model some bikinis for some russian dork :p

It didn't occur to me until this episode how Vaughn's life is beginning to parallel Jack Bristows'.

Hero's prediction: Within four new episodes we discover Vaughn's wife is pregnant!

the whole thing with sloan, how he is thinking he might be sidney's father is too much. The show can have drama, and the love story part, that's ok. I think the who is the father bit goes too far.
