Been out of the hardware scene for a while, which would you consider to compliment my pending Core 2 Duo purchase? 😉
 
Oops, I should say I am aware of the BIOS issues with the P5WDH in that it doesn't support C2D out of the box. Apparently I need the latest 0901 BIOS to get the X6800 to post. Actually, I might wait. The ASUS forum members are slating ASUS for this release without the BIOS supporting C2D...
 
P5WD2-E does not support Core 2 Duo with any BIOS revision
P5W-DH Deluxe definitely supports Conroe with the 701 BIOS (AnandTech Conroe benchmarks are run on a P5W-DH Deluxe with the revision 701 BIOS)

My P5W-DH shipped with the revision 502 BIOS, but I have yet to receive my C2D E6600 to see if it works. I'm flashing to the newest BIOS (revision 801) as soon as I can.
