My guess is it isn't gonna be anything close to transparent. It'll be translucent. Kind of like a milk jug.
 
 
Wonder if the ball could be done with some clear epoxy resin instead of 3D printing. May have to lookup how they make bowling balls and see if you could get an idea of how to go about it.
 
This video scares me, I was looking up the filament I got on YouTube and this guy said it broke his 3D printer and I'm worried it's going to break my printer too.


 
Yea, but nobody gives a shit about what chatgpt says. You might as well say you wiped your ass, and read the shit marks on the toiletpaper. What do people that use your exact printer, and that exact plastic say?

Made this shoe rack for my son and he's pretty excited about it.

I printed this for my son overnight, 6.5 hour print. I had tried to print this twice before at it's normal scale of 125% and it kept losing adhesion like an hour in with all the supports. I scaled it to 175% and tried last night and it succeeded. I have also since started using hairspray on the plate which I don't know if that helped or not, but it succeeded. I also used a different filament since the other white I had was out.

The front left leg was holding on by a thread in the 2nd joint, and I didn't even notice that until I was taking off the supports, but I'm glad it was able to still finish the print and I could glue it to solve the problem, even if not glued perfectly. My son doesn't care and he's about to color it.

It's articulating too so all the joints move. It's definitely one of the cooler toys I've printed for him so far.

I've been messing with Onshape the past few evenings cause I want to make a housing for the PSU I got for my LED project.

It's been a learning process but it's starting to come along.

I have done some quick prototype prints to see if it fits and the first one I did, even though it was to spec of the width, was not wide enough. It would not fit flush without pushing the sides out ever so slightly. I only printed like a slice of it too not the whole thing.

Last night I worked on that rear panel and those vents. I've also changed the thickness from 4mm to 2mm. I printed out JUST a slice of the rear panel to see if those cut outs will fit the parts that are going in them. They arrive today so I'll test it out when I get the parts. But the width of it seems absolutely flush/perfect.
