I think I broke my 3D printer for a second time! 😔

This morning I woke up and my printer was on the floor and I was like HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!?

Then I remembered, you see, I've been sick for about 2 days(it might be COVID) I was sleeping on my couch sitting down because my nose becomes more stopped up when laying down.

I woke up from coughing alot and was looking around for cough drops, my legs were really numb and I was really tired and I think when I was looking for the cough drops in cabinets I pushed the printer off the counter, it was weird because I don't remember doing this.

I'm currently printing a phone stand and the base wasn't coming out right, I'm going to wait until the print is done just to see how bad the print is going to be and if the print is terrible I'll buy a new printer.

If I use my Amazon visa it'll cost $30 a month for 6 months to get a new one.

You see how the base print for the phone stand isn't even? It wasn't doing this before I dropped my printer.

The phone stand is very furry on the bottom and a little fragile.

Do you have room for a larger printer?

Yes, but the bigger ones are alot more expensive.

Especially the ones that don't have to be assembled.

(I reposted this because you posted immediately after my post and thought maybe you didn't get a notification)

I found some bigger pre-assembled printers that are on sale for 37% and 32% off, probably because of the holidays.

But I'm a little intimidated from buying a printer I've never used before, I'm currently watching YouTube videos about both of them.

Mora sells very nice functional knives <$20. Wood is free. You 3D subtract the wood til you get a useful and/or decorative object. *Bonus is it doesn't create a bunch of plastic shit that has to be dealt with.

*A lot of Mora's knives have plastic handles, but that's a durable good. It'll last years with proper care.

Stick with FDM, the resin ones are toxic indoors & require separate stations for solvent-washing & UV-curing.

FWIW all of the filament models work the same, no matter HOW big they are!

I didn't even know what a "resin" 3D printer was....

I'm definitely sticking with FDM.

For the Amazon Visa you need your purchase to be above $250 to get a 12 month plan and this bigger 3D printer only cost $240.

I was thinking of also buying a pair of shoes alongside the printer so I could get the 12 month plan instead of the 6 months plan.

But as I said before, I'm a little intimidated on buying a printer I'm not familiar with.

I just bought the Adventurer 5M, I chose this one instead of the creality because the adventurer happens to be the best selling printer on Amazon.

I have to pay $26 a month for a year for this printer including a pair of shoes I've purchased.

I said this in my other thread, but I'm going to try to make this when I get my adventurer 5M, I'm going to get transparent filament for the sphere.

Tetrahedrons and spheres are my favorite shapes.
