what do you mean? If someone hit you from behind, its their fault. Not yours.

However your ins is ghey. You know what one ins company did (this was in the news). Some company was insured by a car ins company. The employees of that company were under that insurace for both their personal and work vehicles. One of the employees had a modified car (his own personal car) and his wife got into an accident wiht that car. Ins company dropped him as well as ALL THE OTHER EMPLOYEES from the ins policy. They pretty much refused to insure that company's work vehicles and the employee's personal vehicles because of that one incident!

Now, some companies drop you if they find out you have a modified vehicle (whether you got in an accident or not). If you do get into an accident, they won't insure you.

I really hope hte Gov't takes over the insurance soon.

Hey BigRigDriver, are semi's usualy inline or V engines and what is the normal number of cylinders in a semi? and the normal displacement?

its just been bugging me whats the answer to these questions and my lame @ss google skills suck.

Generally they are in-line 6's. Average displacement is about 12 liters, I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. . .

I doubt each cylinder has a displacement of two liters. I also could be wrong though.

I used to have an old piston that came out of a large truck engine. It had a diameter of about 6 inches and weighed about 6 pounds. The engines in large diesel trucks generally weigh more than a compact car. If you saw how big the cylinders and pistons were, you'd have no trouble believing that each cylinder diplaces 2 liters😀

Heck that is a small engine. I have worked on engines that have 645 cubic inches per cyl and 16 cylinders with 2 turbo chargers.
Sweet.
