jus formatted my computer and installed XP. The hard drive still has 10gb free and its telling me its low on virutal memory. does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem??

I just had this same problem with my PC at work. How much RAM do you have in your PC? This is referring to your system's temporary memory (RAM), not the amount of free disk space on your hard drive). Win XP requires 128 MB, but you're better off with at least 256 MB. Hope this helps.

Virtual memory is NOT referring to your ram. Virtual memory is your page file, which is what the OS uses when you run out of ram. Go to control panel/system/advanced/performance/advanced and look at the setting for virtual memory.... the answer should be there 😉
