Junk Mail... :(

It never fails. Everytime I go to the mailbox I have 2 bills and 20 pre-approved credit cards, and other junk mail.

Then a telemarketer calls two or three times a day.

Can't they leave us alone?:|

soo thats what happened to the unemployment rate. I just realized it, now that soo few are unemployed, their is alot more junk being advertized, tv psychics, people calling, mailed stuff.. and thos posters "need 30 people to lose 30lbs in 30 days"

I always open the preapproved credit cards and throw the return envelope (empty) into the mailbox. doesn't cost me anything, but it cost the other end.

When a telemarketer calls, just before hanging up, ALWAYS say "Please remove me from your list". By law they have to remove you, and not call anymore. If they continue to call, you can prosecute.

As for all the junk mail, I just take the postage-paid envelopes and stuff them with the OTHER junk mail I get, and send it out.

It will take a few months for your wishes to be circulated around to Direct Marketing companies but it will happen. Your name stays on those lists for five years, after which time you will need to re-register.
