Junk Mail....

I get spammed with tons of junk mail every day and I am sick and tired of it. I tried switching e-mail services, and domains, but the spammers still manage to get to me.

I use outlook 2007, but I dont see a working option to block spammers. For example, I often get spammed from @mail.ru, @list.ru, @bk.ru.... I first blocked senders, but the spammers would simply spam me from different addresses.. Then I added the domain to the blocked list, but for some reason I keep getting spammed from the same domain!!! How can this be if I blocked it? Am I doing something wrong?

See, it is not enough for me if a program will put spam mail in my junk folder or deleted folder. I don't want to receive it. I don't even want to see it. I know that this is probably impossible to do, but I want to at least significantly reduce the amount of junk I get.

If possible, I'd also like to know how to report spammers to authorities. I know it probably wont solve anything i the long run, but it will make me feel good.

Please help me. I need some advice.

PS: What e-mail service do you use? I currently use the mail.ru service because it's easy and relatively stable. I wanted to switch to MSN or Gmail, but I get spam from these domains too, so I don't know what to do..

... create a new email account and only give it to people u trust.

thats the only safe way. or use gmail and let it take care of the spam for u, it empties it ever few days.

Some spam tools have the option to delete or drop messages on receipt but it's usually a really bad idea because you can't trust them to be 100% accurate and any false positives will be lost as well.
