I want to go learn jungle survival skills but don't want to join the military what are my options here people? Costs?

You really think that they teach that shit to current soldiers? Pick up a fucking newspaper and learn where we are currently fighting.

Actually, yeah, a friend of mine got back from Jungle Warfare school in Okinawa a few months ago. Said it was one of the best experiences of his life. Though very hard.

Maybe a bit more than that. It's pretty much open as long as there are slots available and your command wants to send you. Though it's a lot easier to get to as a Marine.

That's definitely not a jungle.
 
Like what skills? Just take a map, a water purifier, a sleeping bad, a tarp, a big knife, a first aid kit, and a sat phone. Everything goes in 2 plasitic bags. Don't eat the mushrooms.
