um how does shipping, handling, and taxes come to $52.99?? i think you may want to check your math. also, you only agreed to pay a certain amount when you put your credit card number in, so they can't charge you any more than you agreed to. if this is true though, just dispute the charges with your cc company :)

First, there is a thread for this and there's no reason you couldn't post there.

Second, before you go spouting off, have you verified a double charge on your CC. My guess is that they are just relaying the info that 52.99 was charged to your CC when they shipped. M$ didn't charge your card when you ordered, so what's the problem?

A little hyper, aren't we?!! Jeez!!
Can you even read - or comprehend what you are reading??
If it says $40.99 + shipping/handling & applicable taxes, then it will add up to around the $52.99.
If you remember, the offer on the site was $40.99 + s/h&taxes - DUH!!!

What a freakin' spaz!! :disgust:

BTW - I didn't really know we were wasting our money on a lava lamp anyways!
I was buying it for the Win XP Pro, not some glitter globe! I just consider it a bonus.
I'll probably just give it to the kids anyways. :p

Heck, even if they did charge you both, which they won't, you'd still be getting XP pro FULL for 1/3 price...
