Finally, to replicate the results of the video, Adam applied dry lubricant to the tablecloth and put a sheet of plastic between it and the table. Although Jamie successfully yanked out the cloth from a standing start, he and Adam declared the myth busted due to the need to fake the setup.

Isn't the point of the show to bust or confirm REAL LIFE myths, not Hollywood magic? Once they find the viral video to be fake, they use their own movie magic tricks and show you how the myth was done, or at least how it could have been done.

Fuck, if they really wanted to know they could just call up the film makers and ask....
