Ya got full on darkness in your soul. It suffocates any intelligence that tries to take and grow. You are a moron to such a degree that there is no tool with which to measure it. Seriously, you're horrible to your core. Embracing your inner and outer deplorable/stupid like a fricken champ.
I guess someone has given you a different account of the election of 2000. Sorry, but they were wrong.

While the media has focused on that one particular ballot, it wasn't the only ballot that needed to be examined and for a decision to be made on the intent of the voter. There were also other questions about ballots that may have been sent to different districts. In all fairness on an election that is so close, why not just hold a special election and get a verifiable result?

You're confusing this recount for a completely different race where the possibility of a special election being held does exist since that is where the wrong ballots were sent to voters within the district in question. This does mean one scenario is the Democratic Party in Virginia will actually end up in control of Virginia's House of Delegates depending on the ultimate outcomes in these two races.

You're ridiculous... Along with all the other things I called you. Champion of Stupid isn't the compliment it appear to be though you and your kind compete like your lives depend on it. ... ? Blink twice for yes. I won't see it or be able to do anything about it but...

I had seen the cropped version before and thought, "Yeah, looks like they intended to vote for the R". But the full version makes it confusing as to intent. Why can't people just follow the directions, it's not rocket science. That is a spoiled ballot.

The whole thing is a disaster. I can't believe this is how we are still voting in 2017.

No one will be able to figure out intent fairly. The ballot is a Rorschach test. See what you want to see in it.

The nitwit voter made a mess of it. Toss it out and go from there.

So you think since this particular election is so important to Democrats, that it should just be awarded to them? It seems every partisan Democrat wants the election awarded to the Democrats and every Republican thinks the fairest way to settle it is a special election which would settle the question honestly. So who are the partisans here?

Definitely you tajjy. And with a wild blind fervor that passed sanity and decency long ago.

At least i've honestly identified myself as a partisan over a year ago, point some fingers at the hypocrites and liars that refuse to be honest about themselves.
Almost everyone here is a partisan to some degree. What distinguishes you is the ability to ignore facts for the sake of tribalism.

Its a fucking spoiled ballot genius. Ballot officials should not be in the business of "guessing" voter intent.

Translation: We should be able to suspend democracy as long as it suits the Republican

A few more sock puppet accounts here and you can vote yourself into office Kalyan!!

Isn't that ironic! Someone who stuffs the ballots here crying about fraud and intent!!!

LOL, geezuz, in this case I'll take the "liars" over the fanatics (you don't know me but choosing "liars" would be a very difficult thing for me). Psst... Partisan does not have to mean fanatical and hysterical blindness. I meeean... You choose that but you don't have to. Common sense and decency could rule your days but loyalty to some means throwing standards, morals, intelligence, out the window with a very loud "hmph" and stomping feet. It does not make you a hero it makes you a horrible deplorable, nothing else. The least you could do whilst holding on to your partisan bias with desperate, clawing, greasy fingers is feel stupid every minute of every day.

There were plenty of other "spoiled" ballots that were reviewed, you only focus on 1.

Common sense and decency is exactly why i'm a Republican.

Funny shit!
No, cruelty, ugliness, no sense... but then, you're a Trumpublican not a Republican. You spend far too much time defending him rather than the policies that are going to rape the people, the land, the air, water, the global reputation. You truly have to be a special kind of stupid to not see that in general or in yourself. The moment you stop defending him you'll see that that he and this Administration are a complete disaster and terrifyingly dangerous. Wake up dipshit! Trump's not worth your soul. What this Administration is doing isn't worth your loyalty.

Unfortunately, there is nothing the commission can do short of running another runoff election that would satisfy the party that feels they've been wronged.

So will the dems request a recount now that the drawing has happened? From what I read earlier, they can request another recount if they lose the draw.
She wouldn't rule it out this morning on CNN. She offered a pact with the R candidate that they both agree to let the draw stand unchallenged. The R refused so she left the door open to a recount.

Maybe they will fall in the floor and cry and kick the walls. See above...

( I think a drawing from a hat is a stupid way to determine an election. )

While drawing names from a hat is stupid to me if something is legitimately tied it's as good a way as any other.

That being said we should probably note that the Democrats won the statewide assembly vote by 10% and gerrymandering was so bad that it STILL wasn't enough for a majority of assembly seats. That's as clear a sign as any that SCOTUS needs to step in and stop partisan gerrymandering as it's gotten totally out of hand.
