I honestly thought that the judge would order recounts. Especially when the Bush expert admitted that manual counts should be done in very close elections.

DefRef, did you recite that from memory, or have to pop in the Pulp Fiction tape? ;)

Micheal, the votes have been recounted and recounted and recounted and. . . . Bush keeps winning.

It's about time. It made my day when I heard about the Supreme Court. They annouced Judge Sauls' verdict while I was driving home. My roomate told me as I walked in the door.

Its a longshot the FSC will overturn Sauls. Gore basically knows he has lost, I bet hes writing a concession speech. Now its a matter of finding the right time to concede and save face. Theres several possibilities. One would be conceding if Nikki Clark throws out ballots(knowing full well the FSC will not allow 15,000 ballots thrown out). I mean its the only thing that can save Gore's career. I mean politics is his life, if he wants his career to continue he needs to find a way to concede soon, and save face.

Damn, that's a tatoo artist with some EXCELLENT eyesight to do letters THAT small. :D

<< ...Democrats? No response from them? >>

Of course not. They're weeping into their Gore/Lieberman literature.

George "I'm a journalist, not a publicist for Clinton/Gore" Snufflufagus was saying on ABC News that Gore would be best served to concede while he still had a couple of cards in his hand. (i.e. the current appeal and the crack pipe dream of tossing the ballots)

If he gets the Seminole County ballots thrown out, he'll be showing how all his "every vote must count" lies were just that. He'd be disqualifying about 10,000 votes in order to throw out enough Bush votes for him to win. (And please don't say that he's not suing, he's flunkies are doing his bidding.)

I doubt he's got the man in him to do the statesmen like thing. He's gonna keep suing and crying until he has ZERO avenues left to sue and cry to.

Then he'll be the loser and just hang around and whimper for the next four years about how he had more votes and blah-blah-blah...

I liked this paragraph:

"In conclusion, the court finds that the plaintiffs have failed to carry the requisite burden of proof and judgment shall be and hereby is entered that plaintiffs shall take nothing by this action and the defendants may go hence without delay."
