Judge OKs Nuclear Strike on Napster

<< Judge Patel said, "I see it as the final solution to this ongoing problem. There might be some lives lost but at least it will guarantee that no copyrighted songs escape their servers."

Napster lawyers chuckled when the RIAA suggested a nuclear strike. "We thought they were joking but then Judge Patel said it was a good idea and signed the order. We weren't laughing anymore. We pleaded that human lives had to be more important than copyrighted songs, but the Judge disagreed."

Ironically Dr. Dre and Metallica who just settled their lawsuits, were at Napster when the strike occurred and were evaporated. Fortunately no musicians were harmed in the attack.

BAHAHAHAHA!

whats napster? 😉 as predicted there is no end to free music. I dont care what judge or what state you're from, there will always be free mp3s.

danny~!

The only time I miss napster is when I want a full album with minimum hassle that is pretty rare. If i'm going for single songs though I could care less about napster.

I was like wait, what? Then the date. Lol.

I'm not really sure why necro is so looked down on, it's good for a chuckle imho. What's the worst that can happen, you waste 5 seconds looking at an old thread? What if new replies are funny or interesting?

Ah well.

Napster was always crap for getting a full album. The tracks were always of varying quality, bitrates, and naming conventions. Often times, you wouldn't even know if, say, track 9 was the last track on an album when you searched for specific tracks.

Waited a long time to say that. 🙂

I was still using dial-up when Napster hit, I still got quite a bit of stuff problem was as already mentioned there were some horrid rips going around that made an 8 track sound decent..
