You act as if the right to claim the term marriage has something to do with treating people as humans. As if it’s the corner stone of human rights. It simply isn’t. That you’d mention blacks and women is an insult to those movements.

Excellent argument there. By the way, is this you?

Are people really that stupid who post? Or just floundering until they get the marching orders from Rush about how it's Obama's fault liberal activist judges and dimocrats are holding down the homosexuals this whole time?

Not going to take a position on this issue but it is quite disturbing that the judge didn't recuse himself from this trial.

If a gay judge has to recuse himself because one side is pro-gay, why doesn't a heterosexual judge have to recuse himself because one side is pro-heterosexual-only marriage?

It's like a hearing on segregation, when you claim a black judge has to recuse himself, so we can have a white judge.

Your bigotry is showing.

It does. Ever hear how many anti-gay bigots bring up 'a man marrying his dog' in arguments comparing it to two gays marrying? Equality under the law is a corner stone of human rights.

That you’d mention blacks and women is an insult to those movements.

No, it isn't. The fact you say it is is proof of your anti-gay bigotry - you view them as less than fully human, compared to full humans like straight blacks or women, you.

Their rights are not worth as much - to your bigoted opinion.

White people should just be prevented from being Judges period, since most people in the USA are White.

It's really quite stupid to have such an obvious racial bias.

Thought we were talking sexual preferences here, not race.

I don't really like polygamy on human equality issues. 1 person and 1 person. Not 2 people for one person.

But the reality is, the argument is the same. Consenting adults doing what they want, tradition be damned.

Where do the "moral" lines get drawn?

There is absolutely no moral issue whatsoever about marriage.

Consenting adults can do what they want, but there is no convincing argument for allowing state recognition of multi-adult marriages, only against.

There is a lot of things govt should not regulate, but they do anyway.

So you favor legalizing polygamy too?

thats is a load of crap that you idiots who are against gay marriage pull out of your hat...
This has nothing at all to do with anything more than one person wanting to marry another person.
Not two people wanting to marry a thirds or fourth person!

BTW we are taling about people here not aminals and such!

It's not a matter of regulation, but recognition and benefits.

You can marry 5 consenting woman at the a Church of your choosing (that would perform this) and live with them and call yourselves married and guess what, no one cares and the State won't bat an eyelash.

But if you want the State to grant you those benefits among the 6 of you, no they will not.

Only because you're black. Now if you were also a womenz, you'd be up in arms too.

Why not let gays get married? Straight people already have an alarmingly high divorce rate, maybe the gays will get it right and actually RAISE the statistics of successful marriages? They're asking to form a stable household, there's nothing wrong with that. Man I hate these bible thumpers.
