Jounalist arrested in Afghanistan

It's on. Woman's name too. THAT PISSES ME OFF. Yeah, women are stupid to go there, but that doesn't change the fact that there is now a western woman in a Taliban prison probably being raped behind a curtain by a bunch of 'religious' hypocrites.

The Taliban is DOOMED.

she was in the country illegaly, and people tend to get arrested when they get into countries illegaly.

it's being blown out of proportion.

however, she shouldn't be harmed/imprisoned, just expelled i think.

Well, I'd say she's locked up with the Americans who *dared* to speak of Christianity in Afghanistan.

I didn't notice she was a woman. That is BLOODY STUPID. A woman illegaly in Afghanistan, certainly not obeying the "cover up" laws. I mean come on, there is a time for journalistic balls and a time to get a farking clue. I hope they expel her without any harm, but she had to of seen something like this coming. Journalists are not free to go wherever.

Not to be a jackass or anything, but if those Americans (and there were Australians and others) were preaching Christianity AND preaching Christianity is against the law, then they should be arrested.

If someone from the Netherlands is over here slinging dope, they are going to be arrested. However, it's fine where they are from. Afghanastan has their own laws, and if you are over there, you have to obey them.

I don't care where the hell you are, if you throw someone in prison for passively speaking about a religion, I'm gonna be all about KICKIN YOUR ASS. I agree that the idiots should not have tried to preach when it is illegal, but I don't think the Taliban should hold them in some hell hole prison when they had good intentions. Then again, I'm gonna laugh when I see Taliban officials on TV laying in puddles of blood.... HA F'ING HA, you get what you pay for!

Too late. You are a jackass! Are you a muslum fanatic Osama supporter? If so, eat sh!t and die, mofo!

Get a friggin clue. Those arrested where their providing aid to the poor Afghan people, not preaching anything. They where on a humanitarian mission, not an evangelical mission.

That's agreeable as long as you agree to stop replying to threads concerning my country since all you can do is bash it!😉:Q

Anyone stupid enough to go there (or any other thirld world country) probably deserves whatever bad thing happens to them.
I have no sympathy for people who shoot themselves in the foot either.

<< where did i bash your country in this thread? >>

Preventive matinience my boy😉 Or shall I pull up the prior numerous occurances?????:Q

So you think that all of the US's military that goes to this region deserves what comes to them? A journalist is there to keep US (that is us, not the U.S.) informed. The people there on humanitarian issues are there to help feed starving people.

Joking about rape isn't funny... Unless of course you were not joking... :disgust:

The problem is, you're most likely right... In most other countries, she would be treated just fine... There, they would have no problem doing that to her repeatly...

Damm, that really must suck... I'd hate to be a women in a place like that, talk about being abused...

Normally they are... During the first 5 or 6 days of the Gulf War, CNN had people in downtown Bagdad videotaping the bombing... Finally they were cut off, but Saddam let them stay for awhile thinking it might help his cause...

My butt! This thread has direct connection to something you've posted more than once. Are you denying that you said if we would be supporting this country (Afghanistan) by sending aid and helping them we wouldn't be so hated?????? If you are......your quote is but a search away!😉

Ok, please point out the similarities between illegal immigration / not living by the laws, and bashing the USA.
