I'm partial to thinking there are alot of players better than M.J. out there. He was good before he retired, but he wasn't great anymore. If it wasn't for the lax foul-calling on his defensive moves he'd of been labelled washed up long before his retirement. He said he wanted to quit in his prime yet he mulls coming back now that his Chicago contract has expired.

M.J. needs to stick to his underwear commercials. The shoe sales juggernaut has since lost his touch.

The last play Jordan did before he retired was the jumpshot to win a six world championship. He was still scoring 30-40 points a game that's damn good.

I dont know why jordan is trying to do that.. there is nothing more he can prove.. it would be better if he didnt come back, he'll be remembered as a legend. if hecomes back, there is nothing that can improve that only it'll go down hill.

Jordan couldn't play next season if he tried. He is out a minimum of four months, ribs take that long to heal properly! Notch one more comeback attempt by a washout as over. Jordan has been bothered by the criticism he's gotten on his "last play". Players in the league pointed it out as an example of poor refereeing; M.J. clearly pushed off to make room to get a clean shot off. It must really bother him if he's seriously trying to make a comeback.

Unless I'm thinking of a different play, didn't he kind of trip the guy with his hand, not push off? It's easy to see how a ref can miss that: his defender side arm is guarding the ball and ends up between the D's legs. The ref can now see nothing. *shrug* It's legal if it isn't called. Part of the game is getting all the little pushes and holds in without getting caught.
